Menswear: Hermes Fall 2011

Hermes is essentially wrapped in sophistication, and that is clear to see in this year’s Fall collection. The great thing about this collection is that creative director, Véronique Nichanian didn’t count on just a few looks or styles for the men suiting. The suits were eclectic in everything from double breast jackets, tailored and more of a relaxed fit type of pant, light pinstripes, and suits in array of sophisticated, classic colors. The trench coats along with the scarves in the collection added the Hermes elegant touch. However, the collection had a lot of relaxed pieces that could be easily considered business casual or even day wear. Suede leather materials, colorful, bright sweaters, and cardigans lit up the runway. This collection is definitely for the all around clean cut man who would like to maintain that look throughout the evening as well as the day.
