The late Alexander McQueen would be extremely proud of Sarah Burton, McQueen now creative director. Ms. Burton made certain she did not stray from the McQueen heritage. There wasn’t a lot of color in the Fall collection, there was however, lots of different textures. The collection had a sense of an extremely fashionable winter. White jackets with fur, white knee length full fur skirts, zippered pleats, and more fur was the adornment in McQueen’s Fall collection. Even the makeup and hair for the runway was the McQueen way. This collection has a sort of gothic, S&M look to it at the same time. It seems as if it’s innocence and evil are all in the same collection. The McQueen gowns were absolutely stunning and very detailed. Definitely look forward and count on seeing many of these dresses on red carpets soon.
